More Than Just Mountains – Short Film (2025)
More Than Just Mountains follows two young Sami activists during the Fosen protests in Oslo. Despite the Norwegian Supreme Court ruling that the 151 wind turbines on the Fosen peninsula were built illegally, the government has not acted on the verdict. The film documents the activists' struggle — from a major demonstration in the capital to the courtroom, where they continue to fight for their cause. This is about more than just mountains; it is about human rights, and about the survival of Sami culture and identity.
